They are a society founded by ceaser, a former follower of the apocalypse whos dissolusioned with the ncr after tandis death as her rule was the ncrs golden age with her as the dictator so to speak. Plus im not saying cesars legion is bad in the universe or badly writen in meta, those are other discussions, i just dont find them nuanced. It isnt shakespear but you can see its more nuanced. I just dont find its inner politics nuanced, i think its simple.ДЄnd in the games story they are a bit more nuanced aas they seem a ruthless but capable military capable of rivalring the ncr with mostly melee weapons and tons of recruits.Д«ut its still not very nuanced like lets say the red line in metro,they are also red, many people, not very advanced and a powerfull military power, but in metro you cant side with them because your personal goals and where you come from make you and the red line have a inpersonal uneasyness, yet also the red line is fighting the fascists, provides its peoples with safety and food and has inner political turmoils, not single entity, wich you pick up by having a personal friendship with a red line soldier wich then betrays you but is sad about it. No i dont care about them killing people everybody does in fallout. You are more concerned with how the atrocities and ideological conflicts of the legion make you feel, than a real discussion of their role in the FNV story. I can tell by your starting with the passive aggressive statement-as-question in your first sentence. It sounds like you attach too much emotional weight to the legion. I'm not going to argue your simplification of the legion because its just your opinion but I was never talking about anything other than their role in the story as a whole.
